Del Sol Group
University of Southern California
This project marked my first collaboration with Del Sol Group, a communications and public affairs firm known for its strategic outreach and leadership across various sectors. They hired me to film and edit a video for the NEW Academy of Science and Arts’ 7th Annual Soy Bilingüe Festival. This event draws community leaders, Indigenous organizations, and residents from across Los Angeles to celebrate the city’s rich cultural diversity. My responsibilities included capturing the festivities, conducting interviews with the event’s organizers, and producing the final video in both English and Spanish.
I was hired by Del Sol Group, a communications and public affairs firm, to manage the video production for the 2024 L’ATTITUDE Conference in San Diego, California. This project involved overseeing the LatinX EdTech’s series of presentations, where various presenters pitched projects designed to enhance educational access and technology for diverse student groups. My role encompassed filming and editing a video recap of the conference.Â
This video showcases the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s ‘The Fundamentals of Health Research Training.’ This two-day program educates community health workers on the important role of minority participation in clinical research, aiming to improve medical treatments and health outcomes for underserved communities.
This is a video I filmed highlighting the research of Dr. Janet Oldak, MSc, PhD when I was hired as a Communications Coordinator at USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2021.
