Hello, my name is

Andrea Diaz

About me

I’m a digital media professional based in Los Angeles, California.

I have a demonstrated history of working in higher education, entertainment, and healthcare industries.

My professional journey began as an undergraduate student at University of California, Santa Cruz, double majoring in Film & Digital Media and History of Art & Visual Culture. Inspired by the innovative and fast-paced culture of Silicon Valley, I developed a passion and skillset for digital media and marketing.

From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a Program Coordinator at Stanford University School of Medicine. I provided operational and marketing support for cross-functional departments including Strategic Operations, Events, Communications, Branding and Marketing. This role led me to discover new interests and skills, especially in project management.

I am now currently employed as a Communications Lead for the Community Engagement core group at the Southern California Clinical and Translation Science Institute (SC CTSI) at the University of Southern California (USC).

At SC CTSI, I work alongside passionate individuals who are dedicated to finding solutions to Los Angeles’ most pressing health challenges through clinical research. As a Communications Lead, I enjoy curating content for social media, writing and sharing stories, and connecting with people in my community.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, reading, drawing, hiking, playing the ukulele, spending time with my parrotlet, exercising, and learning new skills.
